A photo of BBM and President Duterte inside Malacañang has gone viral
DUTERTE and MARCOS – President Rodrigo Duterte and former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. allegedly met in Malacañang Palace.
This was after a photo of them surfaced on social media.
The said photo shows the President and Marcos Jr.-who currently leads the presidential surveys, inside Malacañang.
The photo was shared on social media by Twitter user @iamjethol which others claimed to be “edited.” Some said that it was another way to confuse the public as to who President Duterte really supports.
One of those who questioned the photo was a Twitter user with the handle name, @LakasNgTimog.
“This photo is obviously edited. However, that does not change the fact that Inday Sara herself confirmed that the two gentlemen met face to face prior to PDP’s endorsement,” the netizen wrote.
It can be recalled that vice presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte revealed earlier that her father and Marcos have met even before the PDP-Laban announced their support for BBM.
But according to Sandro Marcos, son of Bongbong, the said photo was not edited.
President Duterte has yet to announce who will he support in the coming election.
Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos will run for president in the coming elections together with his runningmate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio. They will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
