Atty. Luke Espiritu Confronts Former Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque

LUKE ESPIRITU – The Senatorial Candidate slammed his fellow candidate, Harry Roque, during the SMNI Debate over his stand on Marcoses.

The 2022 National Election is just a few months away and the candidates are on a doubled-time to reach as many people as they can to campaign personally. Most of the presidential, vice-presidential, and senatorial bets are having busy schedules for the campaign.

Aside from the campaign activities, there are also debate invitations. The Commission on Elections (Comelec) also organized a series of debates for the presidential and vice-presidential bets.

The Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) owned by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy also organized debates. Recently, a senatorial debate was held and it was graced by several senatorial bets.

Following the debate, the name of senatorial candidate Attorney Luke Espiritu made rounds on social media. His act of confronting former presidential spokesman Harry Roque about his stand on the Marcoses caught the attention of the viewers.

Espiritu confronted Roque saying he knows his history detailing that the former presidential spokesman was against the Marcoses before due to the issues during his regime and he was defending human rights. He claimed that Roque changed his stand after former Senator Bongbong Marcos gave him a spot on his senate slate.

On the part of Atty. Harry Roque, the former presidential spokesman said that he is talking about Marcos Jr. and not the late former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. He stressed that he does not want to tag those who were not involved.
