Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s Daughters Interviewed about Mom’s Presidential Bid
LENI ROBREDO’S DAUGHTERS – Aika and Tricia Robredo were asked why Vice Pres. Leni Robredo must win president in May 2022 Elections.
Veteran talk show host Boy Abunda has previously interviewed some of the presidential candidates in the upcoming May 2022 Election. One of them is Vice Pres. Leni Robredo who is running as an independent candidate in the upcoming poll.
Recently, Boy also interviewed the family of the presidential candidates. For the Vice President, her daughters Aika and Tricia were the ones who graced the interview. The Vice President’s youngest daughter, Jillian, is in New York for her studies.
Aika is the eldest among Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s daughters with her late husband, former Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo. She became the co-parent of her mother when their patriarch died in a plane crash in 2012.
Tricia, a doctor, is the middle child. Both daughters of the Vice President stressed that their mother is really strict when it comes to working and as well as to them. She wants them to really work hard in whatever they are doing.
During the interview with Boy Abunda, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s daughters were asked why she must win president in the upcoming May Election. For her part, Tricia expressed that it is just a “bonus” for them to see her as their mother but the records of their mom could really speak for her.
“Yung mga programa niya. Lahat naman po ginagawa niya just to ensure na everyone lives life na decent and they deserve. Nakikita po natin iyan pinaghihirapan niya talaga… Parang sulit na sulit sa kanya,” the Vice President’s daughter said.
For her part, Aika Robredo believes that the milestones in the life of their mother really prepared her for the job. She stressed that her mother does not see herself as a hero who can save everyone but she has the leadership trait that inspires people.
