The commission said that examinees for the Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSC-PPT) scheduled on March 13 may remove or lift the face shield during the test in order to maximize vision and reading of the test materials. However, the examinees must strictly wear their face mask for the entire duration of the civil service examination.

According to the commission, examinees must present the original or a digital copy of their COVID-19 vaccination card or VaxCert issued by the Department of Health (DOH).

Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated examinees must present a negative RT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction), saliva, or antigen test result. Also, fully vaccinated examinees must present a negative RT-PCR, saliva, or antigen test result as well.

The commission said that those requirements are part of the safety protocols in order to protect the examinees from coronavirus infection.

In addition, examinees for the civil service exam must submit a health declaration form, pre-accomplished within 24 hours prior to the examination day.

The commission said that the space in the health declaration form for temperature reading must be left blank as thermal scanning will be done at the main entrance of the testing venue on examination day.
