Cherry Pie Picache Shares Story Behind Tattoo Session W/ Son
CHERRY PIA PICACHE – Veteran actress Cherry Pie Picache and her son Nio Tria had matching tattoos.
Nio Tria is Cherry Pie’s son with her ex-partner Gary Tria. They separated in 2006. The prominent actress is currently in a relationship with actor-host Edu Manzano.
Pie and Edu went public with their relationship in November. In a previous article, the celebrity couple admitted that they are still open to having a baby together.
Cherry Pie Picache and Nio recently got moon phase tattoos. The actress shared the story behind her tattoo session with her son on her Youtube channel.
In her latest vlog, Pie shared that both of them got inked at the same time. She said that it was something that they meticulously discussed before having the tats done.
“I would like to tell everyone before we did this, this was a responsible decision between me and Nio. Pinag-usapan namin ‘to ng mabuti. I really had to make him justify,” Pie said.

Both Cherry Pie Picache and Nio got moon phases tattoos. The neophyte actor explained, “Nauso kasi ‘yung mga phases of the moon kung kailan ka pinanganak. Pinapakita ‘yun online or sa NASA then sinearch ko ‘yung moon phase kung kailan ipinanganak si mama. May 27, 1970, ‘yung moon phase na ‘yun, iyon ‘yung image na kinuha ko kasi ‘yung meaning kasi non palagi namin sinasabi ‘I love you to the moon and back.’”
Meanwhile, the veteran actress shared that having a tattoo is one of her bucket lists. “Ako naman I’m 51. My bucket list tayo eh. I’ve always wanted to have a tattoo pero natatakot ako lalo nong nagka-anak ako kasi di ba sabi nila ‘pag nagpa-tattoo ka hindi ka na pwedeng mag-donate ng blood. So that’s what I was really scared of. I had to read up all about tattoos, and putting tattoos. So pwede ka pala mag-donate ng blood after one year,” she said.
After learning that, the actress decided to get inked. “So sabi ko mag-52 na ako this May, might as well na sabayan ko na siya. Sabi niya, ‘Anong ipapa-tattoo mo?’ Sabi ko, ‘O sige ‘yung moon naman when you were born.’”
