The show of Willie Revillame is set to have a new home
Wowowin, the game show of veteran TV host Willie Revillame, is looking for new dancers as it is set to find its new home.
In 2016, the game show of Kuya Wil joined the Telebabad time slot of GMA-7. After almost 7 years of being a Kapuso, the show will have its last airing on GMA on February 11.
It was rumored that the show will transfer to the newly acquired frequencies by the Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc. of business tycoon Manny Villar. Just recently, Willie Revillame was spotted with the billionaire businessman and his daughter Camille Villar. As of this writing, Kuya Wil and Villar haven’t released an official statement yet regarding this matter.
Meanwhile, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Anna Feliciano, the choreographer of Wowowin has posted an announcement on her Facebook account. She said that it seemed like yesterday when she first conducted an audition for the show’s dancer in the Kapuso network.
However, now, she is looking for dancers who will join them in their new home. “Parang kahapon lang ay nag-sscreen pa ako ng dancers para sa pilot episode ng Wowowin sa GMA7. Kaybilis ng panahon, after almost 7 years, maghahanap na naman ako ng dancers. This time, for a different show/network. Sana ay samahan nyo pa rin kami sa aming magiging bagong tahanan,” Anna wrote in her post featuring a throwback photo of the girls who auditioned at that time.
In Anna’s previous post, it goes to show that Wowowin is set to be on AMBS. She also shared the official statement of GMA Network about the end of its contract with Willie Revillame. “When something ends, something starts. Sana hindi nyo kami iwan,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
