Pipay has this “patama” to Toni Gonzaga?
PIPAY – The TikTok celebrity was flooded with criticism after allegedly chiding actress-host Toni Gonzaga.
Pipay or Pipay Kipay, whose real name is John Paul Joseph Santos, rose to fame with his witty video clips that were perceived to throw shade at the national government’s policies and decisions on the COVID-19 pandemic response.
The vlogger is also a known subject of memes his fans created. Some were patterned after random photos of characters his fans viewed to resemble Pipay on social media.
Pipay is currently making rounds online after allegedly chiding Toni during a campaign rally. He has been vocal in supporting Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.
In a video, he can be heard mimicking Toni’s line in Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).
“What’s up, Philippines, what’s up world! Wala nang magsasabi niyan ngayon,” he said.
“Mabuti nga nandito ako eh, yung iba nga hindi uma-attend…” he stressed.
To recall, it was on February 9 when the actress-host decided to step down as one of the main hosts of the reality show. Some netizens claimed that it might have something to do with her support to former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos jr.
Those who attended the said gathering could not help but laugh at what Pipay said. However, not everyone was happy.
A netizen said: “Hindi mo po nararanasan yung respect? Well, hindi mo din nmn nirespect si Toni G.”
This prompted him to post a video on TikTok wherein he reacted to criticisms he’s been receiving including the “canceling.”
