Here’s the message of Ted Failon to presidential candidates
TED FAILON – The veteran broadcast journalist gave a message to the 2022 presidential candidates.
The May 9, 2022 election is fast approaching. Candidates from national to local levels are currently gearing up for their campaigning.
Among the tandems who will face off in the presidential and vice-presidential posts are former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
Previously, they held their respective proclamation rallies.
Meanwhile, broadcaster Ted Failon has a message to candidates who are running for the presidency.
In his podcast “Pagsugpo sa Korapsyon,” Failon asked who among the candidates had the “moral acendency” to influence government employees not to steal the government money.
He also asked who among the candidates has the ability to punish those who try to steal government money.
Failon, on the other hand, seems to have chid at a candidate on how can he order government officials not to steal if he and his family are facing corruption cases.
“Paano mo nga naman masasabi sa gobyerno na ‘wag kayong magnanakaw sa pera ng bayan’ kung ikaw mismo at ang pamilya niyo ay hinahabol parin ng gobyerno para mabawi ang inyong nakaw na yaman?” he said.
Apparently, he did not name the said candidate.
