Marie Lozano and Aaron Gekoski were officially engaged!
MARIE LOZANO — The TV personality recently took to social media to announce that she and her wildlife photojournalist boyfriend Aaron Gekoski were officially engaged.
Marie received the dreamiest marriage proposal from her boyfriend in Zimbabwe as she shared on Instagram that their trip to Africa was kickstarted by Aaron’s big question.
“This was a proposal beyond my wildest imagination,” Marie wrote along with photos of the two of them together. “It happened in the most magical first day, out here in Zimbabwe: up close and personal with rhinos in the morning, followed by sunset over Matobo Hills UNESCO World Heritage Site.”
In the photos she shared on Instagram, Aaron knelt on one knee as he presented her the engagement ring. She then expressed her love fot her soon-to-be husband in the caption on her Instagram post.

Meanwhile, Aaron shared more photos from their special day on his Instagram account. In the caption, he said that it’s important to cover the event from all angles when two journalists get engaged.
“Couldn’t have wished for a more magical day, out here in Zimbabwe: up close and personal with rhinos in the morning, followed by sunset over Matobo Hills UNESCO World Heritage Site,” Aaron wrote.
On Marie’s post on Instagram stories, the TV personality thanked her supporters for all the love they sent and shared that they’ll be off the grid soon as they will explore Hwange in Zimbabwe.
