Jennylyn Mercado celebrated her 18th anniversary in showbiz.
JENNYLYN MERCADO — The Kapuso actress recently took to social media to celebrate her 18th anniversary in showbiz.
Jennylyn continued to be the “Ultimate Star” as she marked her 18th year in showbiz. To mark the milestone, she shared a throwback photo of herself from when she was just starting out, accompanied by a message to her supporters.
“[Eighteen] years na pala akong artista,” Jennylyn wrote on Facebook. “Muli akong nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng sumuporta sa akin simula ‘Starstruck’ hanggang ngayon.”

She went on to thank her supporters, saying that all her dreams came true because of them and she’s deeply humbled.
“Lahat ng meron ako ngayon ay dahil sa inyo. All my dreams came true because of all of you. I’m deeply humbled. Maraming maraming salamat sa inyong lahat,” Jennylyn said.
Jennylyn’s post on Facebook has received more than 1,000 likes as of writing and hundreds of comments from her supporters congratulating her for the achievement.
The actress won the “Ultimate Female Survivor” title in the 1st season of “Starstruck” in 2003.
Jennylyn was set to star alongside Xian Lim on the upcoming Kapuso series “Love, Die, Repeat”. They will continue filming after giving birth to her child with actor Dennis Trillo.
Meanwhile, Jennylyn shared that she’s grateful for her husband for taking care of her while in isolation despite repeatedly testing negative for COVID-19.
In the 10th episode of “After All”, Jennylyn and Dennis said that they chose to do home quarantine, especially because it’s important for the actress to stay healthy since she’s pregnant.
