Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin were officially engaged.
HYUN BIN AND SON YE-JIN — South Korean stars officially confirmed their engagement on Thursday, February 10.
The couple bared the news through heartfelt messages shared on their respective social media accounts.
Sharing a photo of a miniature wedding gown on her Instagram account, Ye-jin shared that she thought long and hard about how to share the story with her supporters.
According to her, she found someone to spend the rest of her life with.
“Yes, it’s him. Boy meets girl, recognizes each other in the crowd, promises to build a future together,” Ye-jin said. “I couldn’t imagine! It happened so naturally…But, isn’t that destiny?”
She also said that she felt warm and protected when she was with her fiancé. Ye-jin then expressed how “infinitely grateful” she was to be coming into the next chapter.
Addressing her message to her supporters, she said that she has received unconditional love and she thought there was no way to repay it.

For his part, Hyun Bin announced their engagement through the Instagram page of his agency, VAST Entertainment.
In a statement, he said that he made an important decision to get married and he’s going to carefully step into the second phase of his life. Hyun Bin later shared a glimpse of his vows for his fiancée, sealing a promise to emulate the love shared by their characters in “Crash Landing on You”.
“Promised with her she always makes me smile. To walk together through the coming days. I’m going to show an excerpt from Jeong-hyuk and Se-ri who were together in the work. I think you’ll cheer for our first steps with the warmth and affection you’ve sent us so far.” he said.
The couple confirmed their romantic relationship last January 2021. They both starred together in the hit South Korean drama “Crash Landing On You” and starred together in the 2018 movie “The Negotiation”.
Meanwhile, Ye-jin’s agency, MS Team Entertainment, confirmed that the couple was set to tie the knot in March in a private wedding ceremony in Seoul, South Korea.
