Blooper of GMA reporter during a campaign coverage
GMA REPORTER- A blooper during the campaign coverage of Saleema Refran has gone viral on social media particularly on Twitter.
The campaign period for national positions started on Tuesday, February 8.
In line with the campaign kick-off, the top presidential and vice-presidential tandems organized proclamation rallies.
Ferdinand Marcos Jr.-Sara Duterte tandem held a proclamation rally in Philippine Arena, Ciudad de Victoria, Santa Maria, Bulacan. It was hosted by Toni Gonzaga.
Isko Moreno Domagoso-Willie Ong held the same event in Kartilya ng Katipunan or Bonifacio Shrine, Manila.
Manny Pacquiao-Lito Atienza’s tandem held a campaign rally in General Santos City.
Panfilo Lacson-Vicente Sotto III tandem also had the same event in Imus Grandstand, Cavite. It was hosted by Ciara Sotto and Iwa Moto.
Leody de Guzman-Walden Bello, on the other hand, had a kickoff in Bantayog ng mga Bayani, Quezon City.
While the proclamation rally of Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilinan tandem was held in Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City.
Meanwhile, Saleema Refran was tasked to cover the campaigning of Robredo.
However, when Vicky Morales turned the feed to her, she didn’t seem to know that she was already on-air.
In a video, she said: “Hindi ko gagalawin ulo ko. Okay na to?”
Saleema explained that she did not want to move her head because of her face shield.
“Hi guys! Di po ako galit! Pasensya po,” she said. “Hindi po kami nagkakarinigan sa area kasi sobrang lakas po ng sound system. Audio check pa lang din kami niyan.”
“Bawal igalaw ulo kasi magrereflect po ang ilaw sa face shield,” she explained.
