ROSÉ – The member of Kpop group Blackpink tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.

The COVID-19 pandemic remains to be the biggest challenge that the country is facing today. This disease that started way back in 2019 in Wuhan, China has placed a lot of lives at risk and has even taken the lives of many people.

A lot of personalities such as celebrities, elites, and even politicians were infected with the coronavirus as well.

Among those who contracted the dreaded virus is no less than Blackpink member Rosé

YG Entertainment said that the result of her test came prior to her scheduled flight for overseas activities.

On the other hand, Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa – the other members of the world-renowned Kpop group tested negative with coronavirus. All members of the group are fully vaccinated.

To recall, it was last year when Lisa acquired the dreaded virus. Eventually, she was able to recover.

Meanwhile, the Philippines is being threatened with the continuous increase of COVID-19 cases. In fact, there are 1,038 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of Sunday, February 27, 2022.

On the other hand, 51 new deaths have been recorded, raising the total number of fatalities to 56,401 while1,999 additional recoveries have been logged bringing the total of 3,551,687.

Since the start of the pandemic, the Philippines has confirmed 3,661,049 COVID-19 cases. Currently, there are 52,961 active cases.
