The Facebook page “Philippines Star” has shared the video footage of a public jeepney offering karaoke sessions for the passengers. The video quickly circulates online and garnered various reactions from the social media users.
In the video, it can be seen that the jeepney has karaoke set inside, which allows the Filipino commuters to sing their hearts out while heading to their point of destination. The passengers seem to be enjoying the unique experience.
A netizen named Scarlet Natividad posted the original video. Scarlet witnessed how a group of friends took the opportunity to entertain the commuters on board. The jeep provides complete equipment for a karaoke session.
The driver has already prepared a mobile phone, microphone and a Bluetooth speaker. Scarlet’s friend Niks volunteered to sing and the driver quickly handed him the microphone.
“Depende po sa pasahero kung gusto niyang kumanta. Lakasan lang ng loob sa pagsample ng kanta,” Natividad said.
Natividad said that Niks perform “Sayang na Sayang” as the jeep traveled along Morayta Street. Other commuters even cheered him as he hit the high notes of the popular song.
After singing “Sayang na Sayang”, the passengers requested for Heart’s hit song “Alone”. Niks gladly accept the challenge and sing. Other commuters even sing along with them, which eased their stress.
