Aside from the multiple cases she’s facing, Poblacion Girl might deal another lawsuit against the Laurel family
POBLACION GIRL ISSUE – Some members of the well-known Laurel family are planning to file a lawsuit against Gwyneth Chua after exposing them to COVID-19.
A Filipina who slip out of the hotel where she’s quarantined, partied in Makati City, and later tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 is making a buzz online.
It was on December 22 when Poblacion Girl returned to the Philippines all the way from Los Angeles, California in the US.
She was later quarantined at Berjaya Hotel but on the 23rd, she went to Barangay Poblacion in Makati City to attend a party.
On December 27, the results of her RTPCR test came and it turned out that she’s positive for the coronavirus.
Two days later, she was taken to the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) facility and underwent swab testing. Her swab specimen is sent to the Philippine Genome Center to determine which coronavirus variant she was infected with.
Meanwhile, among those who attended the said party in Barangay Poblacion are members of the clan of former President Jose P. Laurel including model and aspiring actor, Carlos Laurel.
He stressed that Chua was not invited to the said party.
In an interview via GMA News, Carlos said that his family is mulling to file a case against Chua for her “irresponsible” actions.
“Pinag-uusapan pa po [ang pag-file ng complaint]. Our main concern at this point is magpagaling sa mga maysakit at pinag-iisipan kung ano yung pinakatamang gawin with regards to our family’s position at this point,” he said.
Chua’s family has yet to issue any statement with regards to the issue which even caught national attention.
