BONGBONG MARCOS – The former senator and presidential aspirant said that he is now “perfectly willing” to release his Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN).
BBM is gearing up for the highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 election
Together with his runningmate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, they will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
Earlier, he stressed he will not be releasing his SALN in the event that he will be elected as President of the Philippines especially if it will be used for political purposes.
“Pag gagamitin lang sa pulitika, wag na lang. ‘Ganun na lang, let’s keep it simple,” he said.
But he countered his earlier statement in an interview with OnePH, in the program “Sa Totoo Lang” saying he is now “perfectly willing” to release the said document to the public.
Here’s his statement in the video provided below:
SALN is an annual document that all government workers in the Philippines, whether regular or temporary, must complete and submit attesting under oath to their total assets and liabilities, including businesses and financial interests, that make up their net worth.
In the said interview, he also reacted to the issues thrown at him and his family.
