VICE GANDA – The It’s Showtime host announced on the noontime program that he is going to donate his talent fee to victims of Typhoon Odette.

It was just recently when Odette, the 15th tropical cyclone for 2021, devastated various parts of the country.

The typhoon wreaks havoc leaving more than 200 casualties as of posting. It is estimated that the damage left is worth millions in infrastructure and agriculture.

To help the typhoon victims, different civic groups, prominent personalities, politicians and even celebrities have organized relief operations.

Among those who expressed willingness to help those in need especially those who were severely affected by the typhoon is no other than comedian Vice Ganda.

On Tuesday, December 21 the It’s Showtime hosts give details how the “madlang pipol” could help those who were affected by the devastation of Odette.

According to him, ABS-CBN Foundation is open to accepting any kind of donation whether cash or in-kind.

“At bilang panimula, yung TF (talent fee) ko ngayong araw ibibigay ko sa Sagip Kapamilya para sa mga Kapamilya natin,” he said.

The comedian then asked his fellow hosts who agreed to do the same.

Last week, Typhoon Odette hit many areas in Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Southern Luzon. As a result, many countrymen were severely affected, became homeless, and were forced to flee.

According to the report of CNN Philippines as per the Philippine National Police (PNP). At least 375 people died, 515 people are injured and 56 still missing due to the typhoon.
