Marian Rivera confirmed that she’s one of the judges in the Miss Universe 2021 pageant.
MARIAN RIVERA — The Kapuso Primetime Queen recently confirmed that she’s one of the judges in the Miss Universe 2021 pageant.
GMA News Online reported that the actress has received the prestigious honor to judge this year’s Miss Universe pageant. She confirmed the news on Friday and said that she felt “honored” and “thankful” to be part of the global pageant’s selection committee.
“Minsan ka lang siguro mabigyan ng pagkakataong makabilang sa isang mahalagang okasyon kung saan doon magsasama-sama [lahat], at syempre, bitbit mo ‘yung bandila ng [Pilipinas],” Marian told the GMA News Online over Zoom. “So, para sa akin, isang malaking karangalan siya, kaya naman buong-buong puso ko talaga tong tinanggap.“
The actress was scheduled to fly for Israel on December 6, 2021 and was set to take part in several activities before the grand coronation on December 12, 2021.
Marian has yet to reveal the exact details in her itinerary, but she’s “very excited” to get to know all the beautiful hopefuls from different parts of the world.
The Philippines was represented by Beatrice Gomez, who became the first openly out member of the LGBT+ community to win the Miss Universe Philippines crown.

Marian is a renowned actress, model, endorser, TV host, and entrepreneur loved by many for her timeless beauty and unforgettable roles.
She’s also known as a supportive wife and partner to Dingdong Dantes, as well as a hands-on mom to their two children Ziggy and Zia.
Currently, Marian is the host of GMA Network’s weekly anthology program “Tadhana”, which featured inspiring stories of OFWs (overseas Filipino workers).
As part of the 70th Miss Universe selection committee, Marian now joined the ranks of Broadway star Lea Salonga, who was part of the panel in 2011, and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, who was chosen as one of the judges in 2017.
