A forensic pathologist makes a buzz online following her comment on Duterte and Bong Go’s withdrawal

DR. RAQUEL FORTUN – A popular forensic pathologist is making a buzz online following her comment with regards to the withdrawal of President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go from senatorial and presidential races respectively.

In a surprise move, the president and his longtime aide-turned-senator filed their statement of withdrawal at the office of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Duterte was supposed to run for senator as substitute candidate for Liezl Visorde of PDDS (Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan) while Bong Go was initially rooting for the highest position in the Philippine government.

However, the two earlier decided to withdraw their candidacy.

Their withdrawal earn mixed reactions from the netizens and among those who made a comment about it is a certain Dr. Raquel Fortun.

Fortun, a forensic pathologist – a medical examiner who determines the cause of death of a deceased person, took to social media wherein she expressed her thoughts on Duterte and Bong Go’s withdrawal.

The forensic pathologist also wished for the removal of their billboard.

Meanwhile, supporters of Duterte and Bong Go flood the Twitter page of Fortun.

A netizen with handle name @Seventeen_Perey commented: “Doctor pero asal basura.”

“Meron palang doctor na ganyan ang asal?,” chin05 noted.

Another netizen @asilram10 wrote: “I used to respect this person as a doctor. Only to find out ugaling walang pinag aralan naman pala. Education is one thing. Character is another.”

The president and the senator are yet to comment on her tweets.
