How Toni and Melai supported Alex Gonzaga following her miscarriage
ALEX GONZAGA – The actress/vlogger shared how her sister Toni and friend Melai Cantiveros supported her after suffering from a miscarriage.
It was on November 2016 when Alex and Lipa City councilor Michael “Mikee” Morada began dating.
On January 16, 2020, Gonzaga announced on Instagram that she and Morada became engaged.
The following year, she announced on her YouTube channel that she and Morada have been married in a private wedding at the Gonzaga residence in Taytay since November 2020.
Eventually, the couple announced that they are expecting a baby. Unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage.
Two months after her miscarriage, the actress/vlogger opened up how her sister Toni and friend Melai Cantiveros became her support system following her unfortunate experience.
According to Alex, her sister was among the first to know that she’s pregnant and what happened to her baby.
“Ang ate ko ‘yong una kong sinabihan when I got pregnant. And then siya rin ‘yong isa sa mga una kong sinabihan nang hindi maging maganda ‘yong outcome,” she shared.
For Toni, she assured her that she will always be with Alex no matter what.
Aside from Toni, among those who extended support to Alex at the time is no less than her friend Melai Cantiveros.
“Inantay ko lang siya, kung ready na siyang magsalita. Siyempre pinakamahirap ‘yong hurting,” Melai said.
Alex is hoping that someday she and her husband Mikee Morada will receive a blessing.
The Gonzaga sisters as well as Melai star in the horror-comedy movie, “Exorcis” which is one of the entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival.
