SSS — On Friday, the Social Security System said that it was set to release the December pension and 13th month pay of pensioners on the first week of December 2021.
According to SSS president and chief executive officer Aurora Ignacio, the company will release PHP 27.5 billion for the pensions of 3.14 million pensioners.
Ignacio also said that they have coordinated with their partner banks in order to credit the pensions on given dates during the first week of December so that pensioners can receive and use their pensions in time for the holiday season.
In addition, the Social Security System said that pensioners whose disbursement account was with a PESONet (Philippine Electronic Fund Transfer System and Operations Network) participating bank or digital wallet, or remittance transfer company or cash payout outlet, will get their pensions on the following days:
- December 1, 2021 for pensioners with a date of contingency from first to 15th day of the month
