Squid Game is a survival drama that tells the story of a group of people who risk their lives in a mysterious survival game with 45.6 billion Korean won as prizes.
Four hundred and fifty-six people, who have all struggled financially in life, are invited to play a mysterious survival competition.

Competing in a series of traditional children’s games but with deadly twists, they put their lives at risk to compete for a 45.6 billion Korean won or 38.5 million US dollars prize.
It stars Korean actors; Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo and Wi Ha-joon and is directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk.
In the series, Lee Jung-jae portrays the role of Seong Gi-hun (No. 456), a chauffeur and a gambling addict. He lives with his mother and struggles to financially support his daughter. He participates in the Game to settle his many debts.

The workers of the said cafe dressed up into characters of hit survival Korean drama, Squid Game.
Jovelyn Toreno, the owner of the said cafe, said that they got the idea of dressing up in Squid Game characters after watching the series themselves on the video-streaming platform, Netflix.
Eventually, their cafe became the talk of the town, enticing lots of customers to try their food items as well as their challenges.
