Screen veteran Sharon Cuneta recently took to social media as she shared a message for “Star for All Seasons” Vilma Santos on her 68th birthday.
Vilma celebrated her birthday last November 3.
Sharing a photo of Vilma on Instagram, Sharon said that her “Ate Vi” was described as “ageless to us your Vilmanians”.
“Happy, happy birthday to you, dearest Ate Vi! You are ageless to us your Vilmanians. I love you!!! May God bless you always,” Sharon wrote. “Don’t think of it as 68. Think of it as 33, with 35 years of experience! Siempre, I love you, ate Vi!”
Vilma had recently ventured into vlogging after regularly appearing in the vlogs of Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola. She also announced that she will not be running for any position in the 2022 elections.
Dubbed as the Philippines’ “Star for All Seasons”, Vilma was last seen on the big screen in the 2016 drama “Everything About Her”.

As previously admitted on “Gandang Gabi Vice”, the actress had been a huge fan of Vilma since she was a child.
“Maka-ate Vi talaga ako,” Sharon said. “Si Ate Vi naging kapitbahay ko, eh, for a while. Dinadalhan ko pa siya ng prutas kahit hindi niya ako kilala.“
Both Sharon and Vilma were considered some of the best actresses in showbiz but have surprisingly never worked on an acting project together.
Nevertheless, Sharon said in an interview with Boy Abunda that she would love to do a movie with Vilma and has in fact requested for a project with her along with other screen icons Maricel Soriano and Nora Aunor.
