It’s been a year since Nadine and her former love team James Reid announced their split through a joint statement.

Along with their split is her announcement of leaving Viva Artists Agency (VAA), the entertainment company that sheltered her for more than a decade.

But earlier, she said that she’s willing to amicably settle her legal dispute with Viva. In fact, she has an upcoming project under the said agency.

Meanwhile, during her guesting on “Wake Up With Jim and Saab” podcast of showbiz couple, Saab Magalona and Jim Bacarro, she became candid about her previous relationship.

“I’m so sorry to have to dig this up… we’re not gonna get specifics but is there anything you can share about closure… how does it feel and when do you know when you’re okay na?” Saab asked.

To which she responded: “You know what, it took a while before I got over it. I was pretty much in a limbo for like more than a year. I guess one advice is that just to take your time. I mean it’s not wounds that heal easily. You need to take time. It will take time but I mean it’s super worth it in the end.”

Although she did not drop names, it can be deduced that she’s referring to her former love team partner, James Reid.

Nadine Lustre shared that after her breakup, she was able to do things on her own such as writing songs which paved her way to release an album.

In the end, she stressed not to rush things especially moving on.

Nadine is currently being linked to Christophe Bariou, a French who is said to be the owner and co-founder of BE Siargao, an online magazine.

Aside from that, he co-owns a luxury resort in Siargao. He is also the founder and managing director of Maison Bukana.

However, they are yet to confirm if they are dating or not.
