Melissa Ricks shared a message for her husband on his birthday.
MELISSA RICKS — The actress recently took to social media as she shared a message for her husband Michael Macatangay on his birthday.
Melissa’s husband, Michael Macatangay, turned another year older last November 24.
The actress shared on Instagram a clip of their wedding reception held in Colony, Kansas in the United States last June. In the caption, she said that her husband was someone she prayed for and her prayer was granted.
“Happy Birthday to my moody human, @mikeandrewstavrusmac. You are someone I prayed for, and my prayer was granted and here we are” Melissa wrote. “In marriage, it’s not always perfect, but knowing you’re by my side is all that matters! We’re total opposites, but somehow we make it work. Haha. That’s love!”
The actress also said that she prayed God will always guide them as He brought them together, will keep them together, and will help them grow together in faith.
“I love you. I pray God will always guide us. He brought us together, He will keep us together, and He will help us grow together in faith,” Melissa said. “May He bless you even more, shower you with all your desires and may you be a blessing to others as well. Happy birthday, my love.”

Melissa and Michael got married in California last May amidst the ongoing pandemic. The ceremony was intimate and simple as it involved only 15 people and was followed by a reception in her stepfather’s backyard.
She also revealed getting engaged to Michael in August 2020 and the surprise proposal took place in Batangas wherein they first met and was also witnessed by the couple’s family and close friends.
Melissa met Michael at Jesus the Anointed One Church in Rosario, Batangas, wherein she would go every Sunday along with her daughter Kiera (with former partner Charles Togezaki).
The actress introduced Michael to her Instagram followers last November 2019.
