Artists Waive Fees for Leni Robredo-Related Artworks
LENI ROBREDO – The presidential aspirant and Vice President thanked the artists for their support through the artworks they made for free.
One of the 97 presidential aspirants for Election 2022 is Vice President Leni Robredo. The presidential nominee of the opposition coalition 1SAMBAYAN filed her candidacy for president as an independent candidate.
Robredo tapped Senator Kiko Pangilinan as her running-mate in the upcoming election. He filed his COC for vice president under the Liberal Party. He is vocal of his big support for her even to the point of stepping down in case it would benefit the candidacy of the Vice President in 2022.
Meanwhile, the fight continues for Robredo and Pangilinan in the Election 2022. Their supporters have different ways of showing their support to them.
On social media, several artists have posted Leni Robredo-related artworks for free. Some of them allow the public to grab their artworks for T-shirting printings and other ways to express support to the Vice President.
One of those who showed his support to Robredo through his artworks is Ang Illustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK) founding member Robert Alejandro. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, award-winning children’s books author-illustrator May Tobias also made some artworks about the Vice President.
On social media, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo expressed her gratitude to all the artists who showed support to her presidential bid through their artworks. According to her, she might not name them one by one but she wants the artists to know that she’s seeing their works.
The Vice President showed some of the artworks that include her showing her biceps, hair lip, and a photo of a pink jeepney. She continues to remind her supports that pink is not only a color but a lifestyle that includes being careful in words and not speaking hurtful words against another person, speaking and defending the truth, and always choosing to love.
