Listen to Coco Martin, Angeline Quinto’s “Maputing Pasko”
COCO MARTIN, ANGELINE QUINTO – The two (2) Kapamilya stars teamed up for a Christmas song “Maputing Pasko”.
The most-awaited time of the year, the Christmas season, is here once again and many people start to prepare for the special holidays. Families and friends take this time to celebrate together the birth of Jesus the Saviour.
Foods are prepared for the family and loved ones and there are gift-givings. There are fun surprises that are intended to make each other feel love. Christmas songs can be heard everywhere most especially in public areas like shopping malls.
Recently, another Christmas song has been added to the list – “Maputing Pasko”. It is the first collaboration of Kapamilya stars Coco Martin and Angeline Quinto in a Christmas song.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Maputing Pasko is composed by Trisha Denise and Jonathan Manalo, also the producer of the Christmas song. Coco Martin and Angeline Quinto have worked together in a movie before but this is their first time collaborating in music.
In 2012, Coco and Angeline top-billed the Star Cinema film “Born to Love You”. According to the actress-singer, the actor is her first kiss on and off scree. She admitted that she fell in love with him during the making of their movie.
Meanwhile, although Coco and Angeline did not end up as a couple, both of them have flourishing careers under the ABS-CBN network. The actor is the lead star of the longest-running TV series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. She is linked to his FPJAP leading lady, Julia Montes.
Angeline is now one of the most popular singers in the Philippine music industry. She was able to build her dream house after continuous flow of project offers. She is in a relationship with a non-showbiz man and she remains low-key about their relationship.
