ARIEL RIVERA – The actor/host was among those affected by the cost-cutting measures implemented on Lunch Out Loud, the noontime variety show of Brightlight Productions which premieres on TV5.

Ariel was a pioneer of the said show because when it started on October 19, 2020, he was included as one of the Boss-Sings or jurors of “Kantrabaho,” the program’s singing competition.

When the hosts of Lunch Out Loud celebrated the first anniversary of their noontime show on October 19, 2021, Ariel was unaware that it was the last time he would be part of the celebration.

Ariel did not report to Lunch Out Loud yesterday, November 8, due to an offer from the management of Brightlight Productions that he will only report to the program on alternate days.

Reportedly, Ariel did not accept the management’s offer so he chose to leave the program.

The production staff was saddened by Ariel’s decision because apart from the singer-actor’s sociability, he was already loved by his co-workers.

They also felt bad about Ariel’s departure because of his huge contribution to Lunch Out Loud.

The production staff of Lunch Out Loud can’t help but feel apprehensive about the “pagtitipid” that the management is making in their noontime program because it is important to them that they have a job, especially in the upcoming Christmas.

This prompted the hosts and production staff of Lunch Out Loud to grant the management’s request that only two out of three taping episodes will be paid since the coronavirus pandemic affected all businesses.

Meanwhile, Ariel Rivera has yet to issue any statement regarding the matter.
