Actress Valerie Concepcion recently took to social media as she shared a message for her daughter, Heather Fiona Galang, on her 17th birthday.
Valerie’s daughter Heather Fiona Galang turned 17 on Monday, October 25.
Sharing photos and clips from Heather’s birthday celebration with their family on Instagram, Valerie shared her simple but touching message for her daughter.
In a message, Valerie told her daughter that she’ll always be her baby girl and she’ll never stop loving her no matter how old she got.
“Before this day ends, I want to greet my lovely daughter—Happy 17th Birthday, Heather! Sharing each day of my life with you is so special. Don’t forget that I am here for you and you are very much loved. No matter how old you get, you will always be my baby girl and I will never stop loving you. You are and will always be my greatest treasure,” Valerie wrote.

Valerie revealed in an interview on Magandang Buhay that she’s only 16 when she got pregnant with Heather.
Though her daughter had never met her father, Valerie shared that she had been honest with Heather about her father’s identity from the very beginning.
“Bata pa lang sya, hindi ako nagsisinungaling. Sinasagot ko nang maayos, ini-explain ko lahat. Kahit hindi pa niya nakikita in person yung dad nya, pinakita ko yung picture. Ito yung tatay mo, ito ang pangalan nya. Wala akong sinisikreto sa kanya,” she said.
She also believed that the openness she’s modeled for Heather was the reason her daughter was also honest with her.
Valerie was currently married to her non-showbiz partner Francis Sunga as they got married in December 2019, after more than a year of being engaged.
