Kuya Kim whose real name is Kim Atienza is one of the artists admired by many because of his talent when it comes to giving news and current affairs, particularly with his trivia and weather updates.

It was just recently when Kim Atienza also known as Kuya Kim was welcomed as the newest Kapuso star.

Before he became a Kapuso, Kim was the resident weatherman of ABS-CBN primetime newscast, TV Patrol for 17 years.

Earlier, he went to the image-sharing platform, Instagram wherein he posted some snaps of his segment on 24 Oras, the primetime newscast of GMA-7.

His post was then flooded with comments and reactions but among the remarks that caught his attention is from a netizen with the handle name @rocksalt930.

The netizen told him: “NAKAKAHIYA,HANGGANG HULING HININGA SA ABS CBN DAW SYA.SINUNGALING.”

But instead of getting pissed off with the basher, Kuya Kim only replied with a short message, saying: “alis ka muna. bye.”

This is not the first time that Kuya Kim was questioned about his loyalty to ABS-CBN.

To recall, it was on July 10, 2020, when Congress canceled the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN that led to the closure of the giant network.

Because of this, the management of ABS-CBN decided to retrench some of its workers. There were also talents who decided to transfer to other networks such as Pokwang, Bea Alonzo and the latest is Kim Atienza.

Meanwhile, Kim Atienza is set to appear on Mars Pa More alongside Iya Villania-Arellano and Camille Prats. He will also be part of a trivia television show titled “Dapat Alam Mo!” together with Emil Sumangil and Patricia Tumulak which premieres on GTV.
