In continuation to this year’s “Galaxy Unpacked” launch event, here’s everything Samsung announced at the second part of the event.
Here’s what the company announced during the event:
- Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition and Galaxy Watch 4 Bespoke Edition
- Galaxy Watch4 Maison Kitsuné Edition and Galaxy Buds2 Maison Kitsuné Edition
Samsung Bespoke Edition
Samsung officially launched the Bespoke Edition Galaxy Z Flip3, giving its customers a new way to customize their foldable smartphone. According to Samsung, the company was empowering customers to “express themselves and to create a device that’s truly their own”.
Stephanie Choi, SVP & Head of Marketing of the Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics, said in a press statement posted on Samsung Newsroom that the company believed technology should reflect unique lifestyles.
Aside from this, the company also revealed the Galaxy Watch4 Bespoke Edition wherein customers can customize their watch by mixing and matching from a variety of sizes, colors, and strap styles.
The Bespoke Edition Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Watch4 will be available in the United States, Korea, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, and Australia starting October 20.
Samsung Partnership with Maison Kitsuné
Samsung recently announced its partnership with multifaceted Paris-meets-Tokyo lifestyle brand Maison Kitsuné.
During the launch event, the company unveiled two new special-edition wearables in collaboration with Maison Kitsuné — the Galaxy Buds2 Maison Kitsuné Edition and the Galaxy Watch4 Maison Kitsuné Edition.
The partnership, according to the company, brought Maison Kitsuné’s playfulness into the Galaxy, with the iconic Fox logo on Galaxy devices.
In a press statement posted on Samsung Newsroom, Samsung said that Maison Kitsuné’s signature aesthetic was “infused into every aspect of the Galaxy special edition wearables” — from the watch faces and watch straps to the earbuds and their case.
Also, a refined new hue “Moonrock Beige” was also created specifically for the partnership.
The Galaxy Buds2 Maison Kitsuné Edition will be available for the price of USD 249.99 and Galaxy Watch4 Maison Kitsuné Edition will be available as a 40mm Bluetooth model for the price of USD 399.99.
Samsung started accepting orders for both devices in selected markets.
Other announcements
Aside from this, the company also launched new features on Galaxy Watch4 — including new watch faces, gesture controls, and improved fall detection.
To wrap up, Samsung unveiled Bespoke Edition Galaxy Z Flip3 as well as the Maison Kitsuné Special Edition Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Buds2 at the second part of this year’s Galaxy Unpacked.
