DJ Chacha figured into an accident while riding her bicycle
DJ CHACHA – The popular radio personality sustained minor injuries after she got into an accident while riding her bicycle on Sunday, October 10.
Cycling is one of the many activities that became a trend when the pandemic hit the country.
Because of the lockdowns, some people who are required to attend to their duties at the height of the global crisis last year resorted to using a bicycle as a mode of transportation.
Among those who got hooked on this recreational stint is no less than radio personality, DJ Chacha.
However, she recently went to the image-sharing platform, Instagram wherein she shared she got into a bicycle accident.
The former MOR DJ, whose real name is Czarina Balba, posted photos of the damages to her bike and the injuries she sustained.
According to her, their route was Quezon City to Barasoain Church in Bulacan and back to QC. She’s excited because it was her first 80km ride.
However, she got into an accident while she’s in the middle of the road in Bocaue, Bulacan.
“Hindi naman kabilisan yung takbo ko pero ang lalim ng lubak, hindi ako naka-preno agad,” she said.
The said area is accident-prone, some residents claimed. Fortunately, there was no fast-moving vehicle behind her.
After all, she was able to return home despite the injuries she had.
In the last part of her post, she called on the local government of Bulacan and Valenzuela to fix the potholes.
