Previously, a certain Anna Velasco and Lyle Fernando Uy filed their Certificate of Candidacy (COC) under the said party.

One of the two candidates is reserving the slot for Mayor Sara Duterte in case she decides to run for the highest position in the government. But the Davao City mayor reiterated she will not run for president.

Aside from Sara, the party is also reserving the slot for Senator Bong Revilla. However, the actor-turned-politician immediately rejected the offer.

In a Facebook Live on Friday, October 15, he said: “Ayokong magulo ang buhay ko. Tahimik na ang buhay namin. Ang dami na naming pinagdaanan ng pamilya ko. Gusto na namin ang tahimik na buhay.”

“Masaya na akong nakakapagbigay ng tulong, kahit paano,” he added.

According to him, their party is still awaiting whom to support in the coming elections.

Among those who will vie for the country’s top post are senators Manny Pacquiao, Bato dela Rosa, Ping Lacson as well as former senator Bongbong Marcos, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Vice President Leni Robredo.

On the other hand, those who will fight for the second-highest position (vice president) are senators Kiko Pangilinan and Tito Sotto, as well as Doc. Willie Ong and Buhay party-list representative Lito Atienza.

The Commission on Elections is slated to give a tentative list of candidates this coming October 29. While the nationwide elections are scheduled to be held on May 9, next year.
