The 10th season of Pinoy Big Brother will push through amid the pandemic through collaboration with Kumu.

Kumu is an online platform in which netizens “can get paid by being a live streamer, win cash prizes by playing live games, and make money by participating in promotions and campaigns.”

The upcoming season of PBB will be having three “Kumunities” or editions such as Adult, Teen, and Celebrity.

It will hold virtual auditions first with Adults and it will run from September 1 to 30.

Interested adults aged 20 to 40 must first download the Kumu app, create an account, and make a one-minute clip introducing one’s self and explaining why he/she deserves to be part of Kuya’s housemates.

On the other hand, the audition for teens will kick off on December 1 to 31, 2021.

Meanwhile, Pinoy Big Brother is the Philippine version of the Big Brother reality game show franchise.

It first aired on August 21, 2005, on ABS-CBN, Studio 23 (now S+A), and its international channel, TFC in various countries worldwide.

The original hosts of the show were Willie Revillame, Toni Gonzaga, and Mariel Rodriguez.

Currently, the show is being hosted by Toni, Bianca Gonzalez, and Robi Domingo.

PBB follows the same format as its many foreign counterparts around the world wherein a number of Filipinos volunteered to live inside a house for a certain number of days.

The show had spawned four regular seasons, two celebrity seasons, four teens seasons, and five special (or fused edition) seasons since it started airing.

A total of 1,817 days were spent by 346 housemates in the famous yellow-blue house of which 16 were crowned as Big Winners.

Among the winners since the first season are the following; Nene Tamayo, Keanna Reeves, Kim Chiu, Bea Saw, Ruben Gonzaga, Ejay Falcon, Melisa Cantiveros, James Reid, Slater Young, Myrtle Sarrosa, Daniel Matsunaga, Miho Nishida, Jimboy Martin, Maymay Entrata, Yamyam Gucong, and Liofer Pinatacan.
