Gerald Anderson welcomed Julia Barretto to the PCG Auxiliary.
Actor Gerald Anderson recently took to social media as he welcomed his girlfriend Julia Barretto to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Auxiliary.
It was last September 1 when the Philippine Coast Guard officially welcomed Auxiliary Ensign Julia Barretto in the agency’s Auxiliary K9 Squadron.
The actress now joined her boyfriend in the agency’s K9 Squadron. Based on photos shared by the Philippine Coast Guard on Instagram, the actress took her oath during the donning and oath-taking ceremonies held at its National Headquarters.

Gerald also shared the news on his Instagram account as he proudly welcomed his girlfriend to the PCG Auxiliary.
“Welcome to the PCGA K9 Special Support Squadron, AUX ENS Julia Barretto,” Gerald wrote in the caption on his Instagram post along with the hashtag #philippinecoastguard.
Gerald was an auxiliary officer of the Philippine Coast Guard with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. The actor joined the agency last December 2016, together with his father Randy, sister Jeanifer, and brother Ken.
Shortly after Gerald admitted the real score between him and Julia, the actress started to join her boyfriend’s activities for the PCG Auxiliary early this year.
Last March, Julia took part in a relief operation her boyfriend held in Barangay San Agustin in Iba, Zambales to mark his 32nd birthday. The said event was supported by the Philippine Coast Guard as well as the World Vision Philippines.
Aside from Gerald and Julia, actors Matteo Guidicelli and Diether Ocampo as well as celebrities Nico Bolzico and Erwan Heussaff were also members of the PCG Auxiliary.
