Lovi Poe signs contract with ABS-CBN
LOVI POE – The Kapuso star is now officially a Kapamilya after she signed a contract under ABS-CBN.
The daughter of late action star Fernando Poe Jr. was accompanied by ABS-CBN executives during her contract signing.
Among those who were present in her contract signing are ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes, Group CFO Rick Tan, Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal and her talent manager Leo Dominguez.
Fans of Lovi Poe then expressed their happiness following her much-awaited transfer to Kapamilya Network.
Rumors sparked that she’s going to move to other networks since the finale of Owe My Love. In fact, it was alleged to be her last project with GMA-7.
Prior to her contract signing, she went to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she thanked GMA-7 for taking good care of her for 15 years.
Lovi Poe whose real name is Lourdes Virginia Moran Poe is the daughter of late action star Fernando Poe Jr.
Her showbiz career started when she starred in the defunct youth-oriented show Love to Love.
She rose to fame when she played the roles of Kristal Maisog in the 2006 series “Bakekang” and Shiela Real in the 2014 drama series “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” alongside Dingdong Dantes and Maricel Soriano.
She received her very first acting award as Best Actress in the 2010 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival for her role as Lilibeth in the film “Mayohan.”
The same year, she earned the FAMAS Best Actress award for portraying the role of Kath Asero in “Sagrada Familia.”
Lovi Poe has dated actors Cogie Domingo, Jolo Revilla, Jake Cuenca, Rocco Nacino, and politician Ronald Singson.
At present, she’s in a relationship with Monty Blencowe, a US-based British writer and producer. They have been dating since 2019.
She last appeared on the romantic comedy series, “Owe My Love” starring Benjamin Alves.
