On Monday, September 13, the Rated Korina host took to the image-sharing platform, Instagram wherein she posted photos of the People’s Champ eating without any utensils, just his bare hands.

According to Korina Sanchez, Manny finished two servings of rice with fish but did not eat the grilled chicken prepared.

In the comments section, the broadcaster gave her time to answer some comments about her post.

Some of these are election-related comments because it is rumored that Pacquiao will run for the presidency in the 2022 elections.

Others claimed that politicians eating with hands is an old style.

Another netizen said it’s really delicious to eat with your hands but it’s old-style especially when the election is approaching.

Korina clarified that the lawmaker did not know that she was taking photos of him while eating.

Korina Sanchez said that even though there was cutlery (kubyertos) on the table, the senator really wanted to eat with his hands.

Another commenter cited giving appreciation to people doing simple things.

Pacquiao- who came from rags to riches, used to eat with his hands, even though he is now a billionaire.

Meanwhile, a netizen appealed to Korina to relay a message for Manny’s wife Jinkee Pacquiao

It can be recalled that Jinkee was criticized on social media for her millions-worth outfit-of-the-day (OOTD) amid the boxing match of her husband in Las Vegas last August 21.

Korina replied saying if she has the ability to wear luxurious things, which come in a dignified way, she would not be ashamed.
