FORBES – A magazine well known for its lists and rankings has unveiled this year’s top 10 richest personalities/clans in the Philippines.

#1 Sy Siblings

Sy Siblings composed of Teresita, Elizabeth, Henry Jr., Hans, Herbert and Harley ranked number 1 with $16.6B net worth. Sy siblings inherited SM, one of Southeast Asia’s largest conglomerates, with interests in department stores, supermarkets, banks, hotels, real estate and mining from their father, late tycoon Henry Sr.

#2 Manuel Villar

Ranking second in the list of richest Filipinos is no less than former Senator Manuel Villar who has a real-time net worth of $6.8B. He chairs property developer Vista Land & Lifescapes and mall operator Vistamalls.

#3 Enrique Razon Jr.

The chairman of International Container Terminal Services (ICTSI), the country’s leading ports operator, landed the third spot with a $6B real-time net worth.

#4 Lance Gokongwei & Siblings

Lance Gokongwei and his siblings, Robina, Lisa, Faith, Hope and Marcia ranked number four in Forbes list with $4B net worth. They inherited their fortune from their late father John Gokongwei Jr. whose wealth is derived largely from stakes held in JG Summit, which has interests in airlines, telecom, banking, food, power and property.

#5 Jaime Zobel de Ayala

As of September 7, 2021, Jaime Zobel de Ayala has a $3.3B net worth thanks to his family’s Ayala Group which is now being managed by his son Jaime II.

#6 Dennis Anthony and Maria Grace Uy

Dennis Anthony and Maria Grace Uy, the founder of Converge ICT Solutions, one of the Philippines’ largest operators of high-speed internet clinched the sixth spot with a $2.8B net worth.

#7 Tony Tan Caktiong & family

Tony Tan Caktiong is the founder and chairman of Jollibee and has a net worth of $2.7B.

#8 Andrew Tan

Andrew Tan earned the eighth spot as the richest Filipino with a $2.6B real-time net worth. He is the chairman of Alliance Global, a holding company with interests in food and beverage, gaming and real estate. The said company runs Emperador, the world’s largest brandy company by sales volume.

#9 Ramon Ang

Ramon Ang, the president and vice-chair of San Miguel, secured the ninth spot in Forbes list with a $2.3B real-time net worth.

#10 Ty Siblings

Last but not least is Ty siblings with $2.2B net worth. The Ty siblings composed of Arthur, Alfred, Alesandra and Anjanette, are children of Metrobank founder George Ty.
