Tom Rodriguez Has This To Say to The World Between Us Cast Brian Libradilla
TOM RODRIGUEZ – The Kapuso actor gave a message for his character, Brian Libradilla, in the GMA-7 primetime TV series “The World Between Us”.
A lot of people were hooked by the Kapuso romance-drama TV series The World Between Us. Mainly starred by GMA-7 stars Tom Rodriguez, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and Alden Richards, it is one of the series aired on the network’s primetime slots.
The World Between Us revolves around several stories – the love story of Louie and Lia (Alden and Jasmine) who is opposed by several huge circumstances, the pursuit of Brian (Tom) for a motherly love which led to his rebellious acts, the long-kept secret of Rachelle Libradilla (Lia’s mother played by Dina Bonnevie) and Yachie (Brian’s real mother played by Jaclyn Jose) about the identity of Brian, and a lot more.
Brian grew up jealous of Louie as Rachelle is more impressed with the latter compared to him. His resentment led him to be against the relationship of Louie and Lia and to develop hatred towards his mom when he finally knew the reason why Rachelle does not love him as much as Lia.
In a recent media conference, Tom Rodriguez gave a message for his character in The World Between Us. Based on a report on GMA News, the actor believes that Brian Libradilla is not happy and he needs to know himself more.
“Masaya ka ba talaga sa mga pinagagawa mo sa buhay? Nakakatulong ba siya?… ‘Yung puro nasa sarili lang umiikot’ yung mundo?” he said.
Based on the report, addressed to Brian, Tom said that he is so focused on himself and he does not see what other people want and what is right. He believes that the character he plays is not happy and there is a need for Brian to look at what is really inside his heart.
Returning Kapuso actor Sid Lucero who plays the role of Eric Carlos, the childhood friend of Brian and Lia who fell in love with her, also gave a message for his character in The World Between Us.
Jokingly, Sid asked if Eric has parents and he laughed. He proceeded and stressed that his character is really a “likeable” guy but it can’t take him everywhere. He believes that Eric needs to consider other people, too, and what they want for themselves.
“The world does not revolve around you,” Sid spoke to his character.
The World Between Us is airing its last episodes before the season break this week. Brian already found out that he is not Rachelle’s biological son and Lia already confronted Eric that what they have will not work.
