Alden Richards Finds It Easy To Work w/ Jasmine Curtis-Smith

ALDEN RICHARDS – The Kapuso actor spoke about fellow star Jasmine Curtis-Smith, his on-screen partner in “The World Between Us”.

A lot of people are hooked to one of GMA-7’s newest television series, The World Between Us. The said romance TV series features the love story of Louie and Lia whose love is hindered by a lot of things and people.

Louie Asuncion is played by Alden Richards while Lia Libradilla is played by Jasmine Curtis-Smith. Also the star of TWBU is Tom Rodriguez who plays the character of Brian Libradilla.

Brian is the older brother of Lia. He is envious of Louie over how impressed his mother is to the orphan boy as they’re growing up. He is living a life of wanting more love, approval, and trust from his mother – who is secretly not his biological mom. He is against the relationship between Lia and Louie.

Undeniably, Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Alden Richards are one perfect pair on-screen. Their chemistry impressed not only their co-stars in the set of The World Between Us but a lot of viewers as well.

Recently, Alden spoke about Jasmine. Based on a report on GMA News, in a press conference, the Kapuso actor shared that he and the actress are on the same page since day one.

According to him, he can see how professional Jasmine is and he finds it easy to work with her as she knows her craft and he cannot focus on his. Based on the report, the actor admitted that they are really comfortable working with each other.

“Since we’re comfortable working with each other, lumalabas sa eksena even more… Na-exceed namin expectation ng script,” Alden said.

Furthermore, Alden said that he and Jasmine have a lot of experiences already in the showbiz industry and they also learn from each other. TWBU is not their first project together as they have also worked on a successful series in 2020, the I Can See You: Love on the Balcony.

Currently, The World Between Us is down to its last five episodes before it will take a season break. The TV series will resume its airing in November.
