Sitti and her husband were fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Singer Sitti Navarro recently took to social media as she shared that she and her husband were fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Sitti has decided to get herself inoculated even if she’s pregnant in the hopes of protecting herself and her soon-to-be-born baby from severe coronavirus cases.
On her Instagram post, Sitti said that she and her husband Joey “trust the science behind vaccines” and that getting vaccinated against COVID-19 was the “best decision” they can make for her and their baby in these extraordinary times.
According to her, she wanted to pass on her antibodies to her baby while in the uterus and she wanted to do her part in reaching herd immunity.
Sitti also shared that she got her first dose at 27 weeks following the recommendation of her doctor to take Moderna, Sinovac, or Pfizer. She then revealed that they were able to receive the Moderna vaccine.
Sitti also shared that the only side effects she felt the day after receiving her first dose were “slight fatigue”, “heaviness on injected site”, and “pooped twice more than usual”.
She also shared that she’s back to normal a day after taking her first dose and her succeeding ultrasounds showed that her baby was doing okay as well.

As Sitti wrote an update on her Instagram account, she and her husband finally got their second jab. According to her, she and her husband lie extremely low for the next two weeks until they got fully vaccinated and asked her husband not to exercise for at least a week.
“A lot of people think that after the second dose they can go back to their daily routines but no. Those two weeks are when we should take extra extra care — staying home at all times and resting as much as we can,” Sitti shared.
Sitti also said that the doctor in the vaccination site only asked for clearance from her OB and that’s what she presented in order for her to get the COVID-19 shots.
To end her Instagram post, Sitti urged all her followers to remain healthy and safe during these trying times.
