Gerald Anderson Speaks on Relationship with Julia Barretto
GERALD ANDERSON – The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate was asked if his girlfriend, Julia Barretto, is “the one” and about marrying her.
Last March, the speculations and rumors about the real score between Kapamilya stars Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto were put to an end. The former PBB housemate confirmed that they are in a relationship.
Julia also did her part in confirming her relationship with Gerald. After it, the two (2) celebrities started being open about what they have.

In 2019, Gerald and Julia were hooked on controversies. She was tagged as the third party in his breakup with Bea Alonzo. The One More Chance actress claimed that they did not actually have a formal break up and he just stopped talking to her.
Julia and Gerald earned negative remarks amid the controversies. The former PBB housemate defended his Between Maybes co-star and denied that she is the 3rd party in his breakup with Bea.
The issues slowly went down but there were still rumors and speculations about the real score between Gerald and Julia. Eagle-eyed netizens have spotted proof that the two (2) celebrities were together on certain trips.
Speaking to Boy Abunda last March, Gerald confirmed his relationship with Julia. Undeniably, it earned the celebrity couple criticisms but many of their family and friends are also happy for them.
Recently, in another interview with Boy Abunda for the Init Sa Magdamag finale, the Kapamilya talk show host asked Gerald Anderson if Julia Barretto is “the one” and if he would marry her if he has his way.
Gerald affirmed that Julia is “the one” for him. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, with regards to marrying her, the actor wants to do so if he has his way but he is looking to the young age of the actress and her promising career.
“She’s still very young, and ang dami pa niyang mai-o-offer sa industriya natin, and ang dami niya pang ipapakita sa inyo, sa audience natin, ‘yung talent niya — ayaw kong maging hadlang doon,” Gerald said.
Boy raised that Julia was reared to be a strong woman. When Gerald asked if there are times that he gives way or allows her to have her way, the Kapamilya actor answered that it happens every day.
