Reaction of Ellen Adarna on walkout issue
Ellen Adarna has finally broken her silence following an allegation that she walked out on the last taping day of the TV5 sitcom, John en Ellen.
John en Ellen Season 1 began airing on April 10, 2021, and the last episode of Season 2 aired on Sunday, August 1.
The last taping day of the John en Ellen season finale was held in Laiya, Batangas on June 25, 2021.
But Ellen allegedly walked out on the set of the sitcom.
John- Ellen’s leading man and also one of the sitcom’s line producers and her fiance Derek Ramsay denied the accusation against her.
According to John, Ellen Adarna is already packing up at the time.
He later confirmed that Ellen will no longer be part of the Season 3 of the show.
Ellen’s fiancé Derek said that he was actually present at Ellen’s lock-in taping on her last taping day.
He said he knew it was Ellen’s cut-off so she could leave the set.
Ellen’s manager Danel Calixto also denied the accusation against the actress.
However, in an interview, Long Mejia said that the actress indeed walked out.
The actress allegedly did not say goodbye to the other cast members and production team.
Meanwhile, Ellen Adarna took to social media on Thursday, August 5 to finally air her side on the issue.
A netizen asked the actress if she was actually removed from a comedy show. Obviously, the netizen is referring to John en Ellen.
She bluntly said the allegation about her was untrue.
She also cited that there are “LAW” and “protocols” that need to be followed in taping especially when there is a pandemic.
She noted that she was just fighting for her rights.
Ellen Adarna further asserted that an agreed cut-off was given to her but it was not complied with.
