Karina Bautista shared how she connected with her fans amidst the pandemic.
Star Magic artist Karina Bautista recently shared how she connected with her fans even during the coronavirus pandemic.
As part of the upcoming new series “Viral”, Karina shared that she never expected to be so lucky to pursue an acting career after her stint on “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso” in 2019 as a housemate.
Karina admitted that a lot of their live fan events weren’t able to push through because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in the Philippines. However, she shared that she’s happy that she’s still able to interact with her fans virtually via her social media accounts.
“Sayang nga eh. Ang daming nakahandang fan meets and parties before the pandemic. Pero at least safety pa rin. So napakadali na naman ngayon because we have social media,” Karina said.

“Pag minsan naman pag nag-se-celebrate kami ng monthsary ng fan group kung kelan sila unang nabuo, kung kelan nila kami unang sinuportahan. Heto may Zoom at may live stream din naman kami. So malaking pasasalamat din naman namin na kapag may celebrations napapasali kami like sa Rise Artists and Star Magic. Wala namang problema. Ganun pa rin naman,” Karina added.
Now that she got to interact directly with her supporters, the actress said that fans were more interactive, less passive, “very resourceful”, and “maparaan”.
Based on a report on Daily Tribune, Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza were tapped to be in the upcoming series “Viral” headlined by actor Joshua Garcia and actress Charlie Dizon.
