Diego Loyzaga after testing positive for COVID-19: “Wala pang two weeks, I tested negative already”
Actor Diego Loyzaga shared that he’s thankful that his health wasn’t affected badly when he was recently hit by coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Diego told reporters at the face-to-face presscon of “Encounter” that he contracted the coronavirus disease while taking care of his girlfriend Barbie Imperial who also tested positive for COVID-19.
Barbie had tested positive for COVID-19 while doing the “Bagong Umaga” series of the Kapamilya channel. Other casts such as Sunshine Cruz, Tony Labrusca, Nikki Valdez, and Keempee de Leon also tested positive for COVID-19 at that time.
According to Diego, he was asymptomatic when he tested positive for COVID-19 but he was negative after two weeks when he took the test again.

“Mas malakas lang yung resistance ko sa kanya kasi it didn’t last long sa akin. Wala akong naramdaman, I’m asymptomatic. Wala pang two weeks, I tested negative already. Parang it passed me lang. Pero Barbie was okay, she got better. Malakas yung si Bie, she’s strong,” Diego said.
Although both Diego and his girlfriend survived COVID-19, he believed that the deadly disease shouldn’t be ignored.
Aside from the health condition he overcame because of COVID-19, he also returned to another experience he went through. However, the actor didn’t elaborate on what he’s referring to that he had prayed fervently before.
