Tropical Storm Dante updates as of 2 PM today

PAGASA announced via its latest bulletin issued at 2 PM today, June 1, 2021, that Tropical Storm Dante is now moving north-northwestward towards the southern portion of Eastern Visayas.

It is traversing North Northwestward at 15 km/h. It has maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 90 km/h.

At 01:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm Dante was located at at 220 km East Northeast of Maasin City, Southern Leyte or 125 km East Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.6°N, 126.8°E).

Meanwhile, the following areas have been placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 1 and 2:

  • Luzon – Catanduanes, the southern portion of Camarines Sur (Caramoan, Presentacion, Lagonoy, San Jose, Sagñay, Garchitorena, Buhi, Iriga City, Bato, Nabua, Balatan, Goa, Tigaon, Ocampo, Bula, Baao, Pili, Minalabac, Milaor, Naga City, Calabanga, Bombon, Magarao, Canaman, Camaligan, Gainza, San Fernando, Tinambac, Siruma), Masbate including Ticao and Burias Island, Albay and Sorsogon
  • Visayas – Eastern Samar, Samar, Northern Samar, Biliran, Leyte, and Southern Leyte
