DITO Telecommunity was nearing the one-million subsciber mark as it was set to reach 150 cities and municipalities within June this year.

On Friday, DITO executives said that the new telco had around 890,000 subscribers so far – a jump from their May announcement of more than 500,000 subscribers.

DITO first turned on its commercial services in the Visayas and Mindanao last March 8.
