DITO Telecommunity hit one million subscribers.

DITO Telecommunity recently announced that it will give out free 1Gb data allocation per subscriber as it successfully hit one million subscribers.

DITO chief administrative officer Adel Tamano said in a video announcement posted through social media that he’s informed that the company hit the one-million-subscriber mark on June 16.

In line with this, Tamano said that DITO will be giving out 1 million gigabytes (Gb) of data for its 1 million subscribers.

I know it’s a small thing, but it’s a gesture on our part to show you that you guys are our partners and how proud we are,” Tamano said.

DITO officially launched its commercial services last March, in pilot areas in Mindanao and the Visayas. It expanded to the National Capital Region (NCR) last May.

Tamano also said in a separate statement sent via mobile message to reporters that DITO’s first one million customers will receive a notification through the DITO app and through SMS on how to claim the free data allocation.

Reaching 1 million subscribers in a span of three months is a feat that all of us at Dito are certainly proud of. I personally would like to thank everyone who has been part of our journey,” Tamano said.

As part of its commitments, DITO Telecommunity vowed to deliver 37.03% national population coverage within a minimum average broadband speed of 27Mbps (megabits per second) in its first year of operations, else risk losing its PHP 24-billion performance bond.

The DITO consortium was made up of Udenna Corporation, Udenna’s subsidiary Chelsea Logistics Holdings Inc., and China Telecommunications Corporation.

  1. Yes good ako sa dito telcos..pero ask ko lang why is it..di ako makatawag in any network…sayang naman ang free calls ko…can you admise me dito kong ano gagawin..second pagmaponta ka sa loa..or okada area at solaire hotel totalky wala syang signal..pls help
