Remember the walis tambo man in US Capitol Riot? He has been arrested
A man seen carrying a “walis tambo” during the Trump supporters riot early this year at the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. has been arrested by the authorities.
Last January 6, hundreds of President Donald Trump supporters storm the US Capitol building pleading to overturn the election results.
In the midst of the chaos at the Capitol, a man wearing a face mask, a hard hat, and the USA flag made into a shawl caught everyone’s attention after he was seen holding a walis tambo.
The broom was made props with an improvised shield of Captain America.
The shield contains the words “coup, pandemic hoax, false media, extremist group, and mail-in fraud.”
Meanwhile, the man identified as Kene Brian Lazo was arrested by the federal agents on Friday in Norfolk, Virginia.
The “walis tambo” man faces the following charges:
- Knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority
- Disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority
- Disorderly conduct on Capitol Grounds or in a Capitol Building and;
- Parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.
