Actress Sunshine Cruz recently took to social media as she congratulated her daughter Sam Cruz for completing her junior high studies.
Sunshine couldn’t be prouder of her daughter as Sam managed to still focus on her academics while handling a career in show business.
In her Instagram post last May 14, Sunshine congratulated Sam and said that it’s such a heart-filling moment seeing her daughter graduate from Junior High School onwards to Senior High.

Sunshine’s post came with different photos of her daughter’s virtual moving-up ceremony that the family — including Sunshine’s partner Macky Mathay — celebrated at home.
“Thank you for fulfilling your promise to me that even if you have started your career in show business and have been busy, you still made sure that you made your studies a top priority in your now many obligations. We love you Sam!” Sunshine said to Sam.
Sam was one of the three daughters of Sunshine with former husband Cesar Montano.
She finished her junior high studies at De La Salle Zobel, from where her older sister Angelina graduated last April. In addition, Sam joined Star Magic last March and became one of the members of Squad Plus.
Meanwhile, Angelina was currently taking up marketing management at the De La Salle University.
Aside from Sunshine, actress Jodi Sta. Maria shared Thirdy’s milestone at school with “moving up ceremony” photo on her Instagram post, which her son apparently didn’t want to be uploaded on social media.
